2011 Autumn Digest: International Society for Equitation Science
The ISES is less than a decade old and has already made an immense contribution to dressage practice. I had already read a few reports on the presentations and presenters, and was simply not satisfied. This morning I found online the 153 page CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS of the 7th International Equitation Science Conference, which was held last month in Holland.
I’ll certainly take the time to digest it:

2011 Autumn Digest: International Society for Equitation Science My uncle and cousin recommended Dressage Underground, this blog to show that the traditional ways we care for and ride our horses are validated by scientists. Reading this, I wonder whether this post is written by him, as no one else knows such details about my position. How could anyone guess? You are wonderful! Thanks! My sisters and cousins Lisa, Cassetta, Agata, Cindy and Veronica are reading 2011 Autumn Digest: International Society for Equitation Science and all around Dressage Underground. Best Regards Justin

Given the importance of the question, we believe that it merits the effort of a more conclusive empirical answer.

I agree, Steven. Being a dressage practitioner, and not, myself, a scientist, I appreciate the efforts of science to disabuse us of misconceptions and clarify for us the effects and affects of dressage practice. For the benefit of our horses, let’s stay tuned. Chris

This news is worth observing. Who knew there was a Society for Equitation Science? I think that you should write more on this subject. Do not let its mightiness inhibit you as a individual. Groups are not able to discuss such topics. I look forward to your next article. Cheers.

My cousin says that current Science is making clear which of the old practices are really good for our horses, and he suggested I read 2011 Autumn Digest: International Society for Equitation Science Dressage Underground. I am reading it, and will continue to ISES, and Dressage Underground.Best Regards SchaadAndy
